Alabama Parents Be aware: New Social Media Trend Taking Teen Lives

The deadly blue whale game is still taking young kids and teens live. It has spread a panic among the people worldwide. The game is based on the 50-day countdown that includes tasks such as player has to watch the horror movie and so on until the last task. The most horrific part of the game is the last task to commit suicide, usually via live stream. It is also stated that players are manipulating to participate in the game through a game master that dealing with the players online. This social media deadly trend occurs exclusively online. Therefore we are lacking with to connect it to specific cases.

A Short Introduction to New Social Media Trend

It is an online media game that bucks up people to do some tasks and when a player starts doing it and at the end encourages players to do suicide. On Instagram, there are dozens of posts are presently related this deadly and dangerous game. According to information, we have accumulated; the online game admin provides players almost 50 tasks that a player has to complete each task at each day. There are certain kinds of tasks such as self-harming, to view the scary movies and walking around midnight and the last one is to commit suicide. After assigning a number of back to back tasks, admin starts providing hard tasks till the task of suicide. According to the reports, the NSPCC young kids and teens should don’t bother to follow their peer's footsteps that lead them into real danger.

“Young kids may get themselves in real danger while completing the Blue Whale game tasks”, an official stated that. So, therefore they should avoid that sort of games rather than compromise their lives. On another hand, “parents should teach their kids and teens that don’t put themselves in any activity in the online world or real world that can harm them badly”, he further said that. Teach young kids and teens don’t bother with the words that translate them as cowards, just say no to the activities which are less protective. Parents also teach their kids how to make affirm decisions rather than getting into the challenges such as “Blue Whale Challenges”.

On another hand, Gonzalez’s parents, who come to know that their young child commits suicide in his closet, and parents know that it happened due to the Blue Whale Game challenge.

A victim’s father Jorge Gonzales has found that a death of his son was broadcasting the whole incident. Later on, he further found that his son Isaiah has sent a number of photos of already completed tasks of Blue Whale Challenge to their friends. “All the stuff was related to satanic and stuff like that and my son was never into it, Gonzales stated to a local Texas news station.

CNN has reported another case of suicide due to the deadly Blue Whale; a young 16-years old girl took her life. The internet game has destroyed the piece of the number of families over the year, according to the reports.

If we consider the both of the incidents Georgia and Texas interconnected to the Blue whale game, then it would be the first to Americans deaths has taken by the deadly Blue Whale Challenge.

There are people in the majority who think that it is not more than just a rumor or a story of millennial urban legend story to scare the parents. Anyhow, a high school in Alabama don’t take the news and stories of Blue Whale Challenge at lighter note and tell the parents that they should keep their kids and teens safe and tell them to avoid Blue Whale Game, the same kind of warnings has been made by the police department of Florida, Miami and even in the United Kingdom. On another hand, law enforcement agencies also pay their attention positively and tell the parents to monitor their child’s online presence by using the cell phone or PCs monitoring app to the fullest.

What Should Parents Do?

Parents should use the cell phone and windows monitoring app in order to track all the activities of young kids and teens. It enables parents to view the social media activities of kids and teens by using the IM’s social media of the monitoring software. The user will be able to view the IM’s logs, IM’s conversations, shared media files such as photos and videos. Parents will be able to get the screenshots of the activities remotely and they will be able to do the live screen recording of the cell phone or PC they are using at the moment. Parents can view browsing histories that enable them to know what sort of websites and apps their kids are visiting.

Conclusion:

Blue Whale Challenge is the direct victimization of young kids and teens, parents should monitor kid’s online presence by using the cell phone tracking software.

Chinese scientists make breakthrough in replacing WiFi with LiFi

Chinese scientists have made a breakthrough in creating full-color emissive carbon dots (F-CDs), which brings them one step closer to developing a faster wireless communication channel that could be available in just six years.
Chinese scientists make breakthrough in replacing WiFi with LiFi

According to Wikipedia, Li-Fi is a bidirectional, high-speed and fully networked wireless communication technology similar to Wi-Fi.

Light Fidelity, known as LiFi, uses visible light from LED bulbs to transfer data much faster than radio wave-based WiFi.

While most current research uses rare earth materials to provide the light for LiFi to transmit data, a team of Chinese scientists have created an alternative -- F-CDs, a fluorescent carbon nanomaterial that proves to be safer and faster.

"Many researchers around the world are still working on this. We were the first to successfully create it using cost-effective raw materials such as urea with simple processing," said Qu Songnan, an associate researcher at Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which leads the research.

Qu said rare earth has a long lifespan which reduces the speed of LiFi transmission. However, F-CDs enjoy the advantage of faster data transmission speeds.

In previous studies, carbon dots were limited to the emission of lights such as blue and green. The new nanomaterial that Qu's team has developed can emit all light visible to the human eye, which is a breakthrough in the field of fluorescent carbon nanomaterial.

Qu said this is significant for the development of LiFi, which he expects to enter the market in just six years.

A 2015 test by a Chinese government ministry showed that LiFi can reach speeds of 50 gigabytes per second, at which a movie download can be completed in just 0.3 seconds.

People Are Actually Drilling Hole in Their iPhone 7, See What Happened Next

Many people think the idea of Apple removing the iPhone 7 Head Jack port is obnoxious due to the whooping amount attached to the iPhone 7 EarPods. Why did Apple remove a common audio connector? The 3.5mm jack is over 50-years-old and doesn’t do much besides carrying an audio signal. It needs its own power amplifier and digital audio converter, which can be built into headphones, so removing the jack makes room for other things, such as a second speaker. As Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller said at the iPhone 7 launch, “Maintaining an ancient, single-purpose, analogue, big connector doesn’t make sense because that space is at a premium.”
Apple users drilling hole in iPhone 7
Back to the topic, The idea of drilling hole in the iPhone 7 came up as a result of a video shared on YouTube claiming that users can add a headphone socket to the iPhone 7, which only has a Lightning port, by drilling into the bottom of their phone has been watched over 10m times.

The video shows a man drilling a 3.5mm hole into the bottom left edge of the iPhone 7 held in a vice. After drilling the iPhone 7 the man inserted a white headphones into the drilled hole, it shows an iPhone 7 playing music, although the sound comes out of the speakers, not the white headphones now inserted in the DIY hole.
Actually the Video looks like a joke, but some Apple fan did not see it as a prank, some ended up drilling their iPhone 7, In the process of trying to get the analog jack on the iPhone, people’s devices become dead. Here are some comments shared on the Video channel you might want to read:

adambsk8: I followed all the steps you said and it won’t even turn back on. do I gotta update it or download the headphone jack app?

Miranda Gonzalez: I tried this, and now there’s no sound coming out my phone. 😡

See The Unbelievable Turing Cadenza Smartphone with 1Terabyte Rom and12GB Ram, You won't believe it's Camera Pixel

Futuristic device is what I will call this but believe me a company in United States, Turing Robotic Industries (TRI) has anounced the release of  Turing Cadenza Smartphone what I call rear beast of smartphone.
Turing cadenza
The Turing Cadenza Smartphone is said to be powered by two Snapdragon 830 SoCs. The 830 is planned for release in early 2017, but why a phone would need two of them is hard to imagine. Maybe it's because the Cadenza is also supposed to ship with 12GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 830 only supports up to 8GB of RAM, so you would need two in order to make use of 12GB of RAM.
The Cadenza is said to have dual 20-megapixel front cameras and a 60-megapixel Quad Rear Camera, Wow! Triplet Lens/T1.2" on a phone that must be an F1.2 aperture lens.
Turing 1terabyte

Also Read: Check Out The New Gionee F5 With amazing Specs

For connectivity, you'll get four nanoSIM slots (because why not) and WiGig. And, obviously powering a device like this will take a lot of juice, so the Cadenza will have maybe the least believable thing on the whole spec sheet, which is 100wh from three power sources: a 2400mAh graphene superconductor battery, a 1600mAh lithium ion battery, and a hydrogen fuel cell.

With this unbelievable spec people need proof, despite the dismissive response from the tech media, TRI CEO and Chief Architect Steve Chao remains unfazed. "I think the reaction was exactly as you should expect. People need to see proof before believing."
Turing
But does a phone really need more than one chipset driving it? And when your average PC only has around 4GB of RAM, surely 12GB in a phone is overkill? Not in TRI's opinion.

"Phones are no longer just phones, they have evolved from a calling device to an all-function digital device that resembles the combination of a desktop computer, camera, GPS navigator, game console and more. We have yet to see the full potential of a phone," says Chao.

The Turing Cadenza is surely a phone for the future to the present.

What would happen if Google were to shut down for 30 minutes?

Google has helped in structuring and organizing the vast information in the world for easy access for internet users, students and researchers. Individual and business life depends on Google; we began our day on Computer from opening Google.com. Did you know what happened If Google was shut down for 30 minutes?

In August 2013, Google and all of its services came down briefly for 2 - 3mins. And the whole internet traffic went down by a massive 40%.

Note that it was just for 2mins. Imagine 30mins. Its highly unlikely but here is what I think will happen

First few mins people will check their internet connection. Some will even call their Service Provider. Some may even check for hardware failures on their side  which is still more likely than 30 min outage
Internet is not Working

People will then realize that its true. There will be a period of disbelief. People will desperately try to reload Googles homepage.

People all around the world will start taking screenshots of the Google Server Error Page. [Likely 500]
Google Oops -Server page

Your Facebook Newsfeed will be full of OMG Cant believe, I witnessed something astonishing along with several images from previous point.

People will search for alternate search engine, but how? Most of them don’t even know that there are alternate search engines 😛

Bing and Yahoo will get huge traffic surge.
Bing Search Engine

DuckDuckGo( Page on duckduckgo.com ) will start trending on Twitter. People will realise its good. (That’s a search engine that doesnt track you BTW)
Duckduckgo.com

Many other internet apps  that uses Google Services in backend will also come down. Without GMAIL for 30 mins the productivity across the whole world will drop by a huge margin.

I cant even imagine the Revenue Loss  not just for Google but for all the companies throughout the world that uses Google.

Android users will be stranded on the roads and iPhone users will be lost in the lanes if Google Maps stopped working for 30mins **

Among all this fiasco Internet life in China will remain unaffected. ***
Google Banned in China

People at other competitive companies will enjoy and sing songs 😛 (Meant to be a joke)

After the outage is fixed and services are restored:

Google will release their statement to press  explaining the cause (may be)

Tech Savvy people around the world will try to dig deep in search for the cause of outage.

Many will speculate that a group of Hackers are responsible. People will then approach many Hackers regarding their opinion

Media will go crazy. They will call experts and try to analyse situation themselves.

Many bloggers will write post about “How we are too dependent on Google?  A reality check. Even Media will do it

Quora would be full of questions  Why did it happen?, What do you think about the outage?, Can it happen again ?, Was my data leaked?, Is it true that Google was hacked ?, etc.

A lot of users will switch from Google services to alternates.

BuzzFeed and ScoopWhoop will have articles like Google went down for 30 minutes. “You wont believe what happened next. and “10 things to do when Google goes down the next time.

People will find this answer and realise that many of it is actually happening (Again, meant to be a joke)

Eventually if it keeps happening people will switch to alternatives. Googles revenue will decline and they will lose the monopoly. People will move on and build better products. Google engineers will have to hunt for jobs again. A lot of them will start their own companies.

Watch Massive TEB-1 Bus Passing Over Cars In China

Technology now is an inevitable part of our society. From waking up in the morning to preparing breakfast and dinner. Technology changes drastically with the rise of each day, and with this, our life also shuffles back and forth, we almost depend on technology. Technology sometimes has a bad reputation but we're not emphasizing that today.

Has we know China is the most populated country in the world, because of this movement is now a gridlock and emission of toxic waste from combustible engines is increasing, This has made China to come up with a first of its kind technological breakthrough called TEB-1 or Transit Elevated Bus made to pass over cars while moving or standing.

The video below depicts the computer generated view of the massive bus passing over cars

You can watch the video in this link 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhfUn2Zen00

The impressive and rather alarming vehicle -- imagine being literally overtaken by it -- houses passengers 4.8 meters (15.6 feet) above the road, and was first revealed as a concept back in May.

Raised up on rails on either side of a two-lane highway, the "straddling bus" glides over China's notoriously intense traffic and is much cheaper than building an underground train system, according to The Guardian. Each TEB-1 carries up to 300 people.

See The New Case That Lets You Run Android On iPhone

This is actually what I personally love about technology, there is no end to its means. New Gadget keeps sprouting out everyday, Nigerians are trying but needs to step up initiative and innovative mindset to keep up with developed countries.

For a while there has been different competition and comparison between Android and iOS on various basis like Security, Fastness, Connectivity, Price and lots more.

Now a Chinese company has developed a new case that allows Android and iOS to run simultaneously without lapses, you can now have both worlds in a package, thats cool right? Thanks to technology.

Actually this isn't the first attempt to make the iPhone run on Android. Just last month, Tendigi developer Nick Lee built a custom case with an enclosed circuit board running an adapted version of Android Marshmallow, along with a custom-built app that allowed users to boot the iPhone in Android. But Lee had no plans to commercialize his homebuilt case.

Similar to Lee's case, MESUIT allows a proprietary Android-based operating system, Mesuit OS 1.0, to run as an app within iOS on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus as well as the older 6 and 6 Plus.

The MESUIT case comes with a 1,700mAh external battery for the iPhone 6 and 6S and a 2,500mAh one for the 6 Plus and 6S Plus, along with 16GB of storage. It also holds a second Nano SIM slot compatible with Android use, but lacks an SD card, HDMI or full-size USB ports which were available in Lee's rendition.

Haimawan is offering the MESUIT case on its subsidiary Jijia's website for $150 (about N44,400) for the iPhone 6 and 6S, and $165 (about N49,000) for the iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus. Right now, Haimawan hasn't said anything about making its MESUIT case available outside of China.

Well, let's hope this finally puts an end to the iPhone vs. Android debate. Would you use the MESUIT case to run Android on your iPhone? And would you want an Android case that let you run iOS? Let us know your views in the comments below!

The Fastest Android Smartphone

I made a post about Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe which was released recently with awesome spec here. Report available shows that the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the world first Snapdragon 821-based Smartphone.

The Deluxe is the first handset to feature the Snapdragon 821, which is a follow-up to the mighty 820 that powers phones like Samsung’s Galaxy S7, Xiaomi’s Mi 5 and the HTC 10. The new chip promises a 10 percent increase in performance over its predecessor and a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz for its quad-core CPU

Also under the hood are an Adreno 530 GPU, up to 6GB DDR4 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Those are available in the top-of-the-line variant; the other two feature a Snapdragon 820 chip along with your choice of 6GB RAM and 64GB of space, or 4GB RAM with 32GB of storage

All that is packed into an 5.7-inch all-metal unibody chassis with a 1080p screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4. There’s a 23-megapixel camera on the back with optical image stabilization and three technologies working in tandem for a focus time of 0.03 seconds, along with a fingerprint reader. A 3,000mAh battery powers the device; ASUS says its Quick Charge 3.0 juices it up to 60 percent in just 39 minutes.

The ZenFone 3 Deluxe starts at $500 (roughly N141,000) for the 4GB variant and goes up to $780 (about N220,000) for the Snapdragon 821-based model. The range will first become available in Taiwan and Hong Kong in August, but we’ll have to wait until later in the year for the top-end variant.

With that, ASUS might well have created the most powerful phone on the market for 2016 – but of course, you’ll want to see how it performs on benchmarks once it’s out.

It’ll be interesting to see if other manufacturers can match the Deluxe’s specifications at a lower price point later this year

World's Largest Radio Telescope Size of 30 Football Field Completed In Xinhua China

China has finished the installation of the world's largest radio telescope, according to reports from state media. The last of the telescope's 4,450 triangular panels was fitted into the dish this weekend, ahead of the telescope's planned launch in September. The Five Hundred Meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (or FAST) is the size of 30 soccer fields, and has taken over five years and $180 million to build.
The telescope is of great significance for humans to explore the universe and extraterrestrial civilizations," said Chinese science fiction writer and Hugo Award-winner Liu Cixin during the final installation. "I hope scientists can make epoch-making discoveries"
Looking for aliens, pulsars, quasars, and more

FAST is nearly twice as big as the next largest radio telescope — the 300-meter-wide Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. One of the scientists involved in building FAST said that if it the telescope's dish was filled with wine, there would be enough to give five bottles of the stuff to each of the Earth's 7 billion inhabitants.

The telescope will, of course, be put to more serious uses: searching for extraterrestrial life and exotica of the Universe such as pulsars, quasars, and gravitational waves. "The project has the potential to search for more strange objects to better understand the origin of the universe and boost the global hunt for extraterrestrial life," said Zheng Xiaonian, deputy head of the National Astronomical Observation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences — the organization that built the telescope.
More than 9,000 residents living within a 5 kilometer distance of FAST were relocated during the telescope's construction. Each received 12,000 yuan ($1,800) in compensation from the Chinese government, according to state media, with additional funds given to individuals from ethnic minorities.

Stop Driving This List Of Honda & Acura Cars, Says NHTSA

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a stern warning this week to drivers of certain Honda and Acura cars, warning them to stop driving immediately unless they're taking them right to a dealer to get risky Takata air bags replaced.

“With as high as a 50 percent change of a dangerous air bag inflator rupture in a crash, these vehicles are unsafe and need to be repaired immediately” the NHTSA said. “Folks should not drive these vehicles unless they are going straight to a dealer to have them repaired immediately, free of charge.” The recall affects 2001-2003 Honda and Acura cars that are equipped with faulty Takata airbags. The airbags, when deployed, can rupture and seriously injure or even kill drivers and passengers.
The NHTSA said cars in humid states such as Texas, Florida and Southern California are at greater risk. If you own one of these cars, go take it in for a free repair:
  • 2001-2002 Honda Civic
  • 2001-2002 Honda Accord
  • 2002-2003 Acura TL
  • 2002 Honda CR-V
  • 2002 Honda Odyssey
  • 2003 Acura CL
  • 2003 Honda Pilot

See How a Chinese Hacking Group Earned Over $500,000 Per Day Through Android Malware

Android malware is a serious issue that affects millions of people, It's one of the reasons the iPhone is still better than Android after all these years.

How these malicious application works they masquerade as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Uber to harm users, and now a new report notes that a trojan-type of Android application has infected millions of users, netting the Chinese group of hackers who developed it about $500,000 per day at one point.

A new report from the Cheetah Mobile Security Research Lab details Hummer, this newly discovered family of malware apps. In the first half of the year, the Hummer trojan infected nearly 1,4 million devices per day – see the following graphic.

The security firm estimates that the virus developer made $0.50 every time the virus installed an application on a smartphone, or over $500,000 per day at its peak.

When a device is Hummer'd, the malware app will root the handset or tablet to obtain administrator privileges. Then, it will display pop-up ads and install apps silently in the background, including other malware. One of the side-effects of the malware is that it will consume a lot of data, It's undoubtedly that all these actions could also significantly decrease performance and battery life on certain devices.

Hummer is the number one trojan across the world, Cheetah says, and the virus can't be removed with factory resets or by some antivirus tools. The company says its antivirus Android apps have all been updated to clear it.

As always, the best way to avoid malware on Android is to refrain from installing apps from untrusted sources. In fact, rather than sideloading apps, simply download them from the Google Play Store, even if that means you have to pay for some of them.

How Smartphone Makers Defraud Nigerian of Their Hard Earn money

Before I start my discussion, I want to say Nigeria is a wonderful country where people suffer yet smile as if all is okay, what I want to share today is a disturbing trend in the Nigeria mobile market that no one is willing to talk about for some few years.

OEM’s has seen Nigeria as a dumping zone where any shady activity is allowed. what do I mean? Now, I have seen a couple of phone makers make a certain phone with 1GB RAM, and then few-months later, they release the same phone with 2GB RAM and add appellations like “Plus, Max, Pro” at the end of the original name. These OEM’s deliberate intention is for Nigerians to dump their new phone to purchase the same phone with re-branded name. Bad!

The United States has a regulatory body called FCC that checks the quality and authenticity of phones coming into their country. Even the highly rated Xaiomi had a tough time entry the U.S market because of the standards the Chinese OEM had to meet.

Over here in Nigeria, the Standard Organization of Nigeria and NCC allows anything into Nigeria, as if our dear country is dumping ground for some of these phones that should be destroyed at the shores of Nigeria.

For other phone makers, they make the two variant, 1GB RAM and 2GB RAM, release only the 1GB version in Nigeria and send the two 2GB version to Kenya and UAE because those countries have a government – This is fraud!

Mobile users in Nigeria must begin to take pro-active steps into ensuring they don’t fall victim of these OEM’s who have only one goal and that is make abnormal profit. If the SON and NCC won’t do their jobs, we have got to do it ourselves.
